OPT Chapter Meeting & Picnic

Lake Afton

August 28, 2011

Thirty-eight members and guests were at the picnic and meeting, August 28th.  Larry,

Darlene, Galen and Janet Adams cooked beef steak, pork loin, hamburgers and hotdogs.

Everyone else brought side dishes and desserts.  Lots of good food, good friends, good

conversation.  The meeting was short -- Linda Dunn passed out fliers for the BTW

State Trike-In which is Sept. 9, 10, 11 in Emporia.  She also announced that our group

won the first place award, of $40, for the adult division at the Halstead Parade on Aug.

13th that will be added to the treasury.  Jerry Dunn gave the treasurer report.  We have

$327.  We passed the hat and gained $93 which was immediately paid out to Larry ($63)

towards the meat and ($30) for the shelter rental.  With no further business, the

meeting was adjourned.
