Meeting Minutes
February 13, 2011
Ryan's North Rock Road
We had 34 present including 5 guests. Dale & Jeni Woody were congratulated on their marriage and also
becoming new members of the BTW and OPT. Dan Seely would like to see some pictures of the wedding.
Dale said he would try to send Linda some to post on the website.
We took a vote on the St. Patrick's Day Parade and decided that we would attend if the weather permits. OPT
will pay the entry fee of $25 dollars. Also, the chapter decided on having our next meeting at the New China
Buffet on South Broadway after the Parade, that way we don't have to meet twice. The Parade will be on Saturday,
March 12th.
Jim Woody has been placed on the board of the Kansas State Fair Biker Parade. He will be attending a meeting
on February 24th to make plans for the ride through on September 11th. He will do a follow up on the Directors
page with what occurred.
The riding schedule was addressed, and everyone agreed on the procedure. It was noted that the dates on the
calendar hand out would be posted on the website. If more that one event fell on any certain day, then you had to
make a choice on which one you would like to do. Not everyone can make every event. The example was the
State Fair Ride through, being on September 11th, That is the last day of the State Trike In in Emporia. We know
that maybe not all of us can attend the State Trike In, so maybe you would like to attend the State Fair ride through.
Bill Tabor suggested an overnight trip to Fort Larned and then to Hays to spend the night, and sight see on the way
back. He will get together some dates and let us know. Dan Seely also noted that he is planning on a couple of long
trips this summer, one going to the West coast and the other going to the East coast. Kenny Flowers talked about the
Black Top Nationals in Park City in August. He said he would get more information and let us know.
We passed the hat and collected $39.00.
The meeting was closed with the next meeting on March 12th at the New China Buffet on South Broadway after the
St. Patrick's Day Parade.
