Kenny & Carol Flower

Carol and I are members of the Kansas State BTW.

The "brotherhood" of fellow trikers have greatly

enriched both of our lives.  My wife Carol, nicknamed

"Hollywood" for her bubbling and overflowing personality,

demonstrated by her extraordinary performances, as she

"gives all" to the children in all the parades and toy runs.

I joyfully extend a great big welcome to anyone interested

in joining us in "the ride"!  Other interests that I enjoy is

my Dodge pickup I restored.

Keith is 39 years old.  He has overcome many things is his life due to his having

cerebral palsy.  But he has made the most of his life that he can.  He is a hard

worker.  He likes to fish, would like to go out to the range to shoot, otherwise

enjoys doing things for others.  He is generous with his time and is willing to help

anybody if he can.  He stops along the road and helps people whose cars break down,

especially old people.  He has volunteered at the Park City Pride food pantry for over

5 years by helping the coordinators load up our supplies at the Food Bank, preparing

boxes for at least 30 families each month at the Pride Center.  He carries their boxes

out to their cars because many of them are old and disabled too.  He is such a big

help to us.  He helps us in the winters by using our snow blower to clean off our driveway

and then goes to our neighbors that are all alone and have no one to help them do it.

He also put it into his truck and goes to older Pride members homes and cleans their

driveways too.  He appreciates the acceptance he receives from the trikers and hopes

that someday he will have a trike too.  He recently took possession of his own, forever,

home and is very proud and pleased that he is now just like everyone else.  He has far

surpassed what all the medical professionals told us when he was a child and is someone

that anyone would be proud to have as their son.  Now that his cerebral palsy is coming

and his leg and arm are getting weaker, he says he will not let that break him, he will

fight it the best way that he can.
